Board Members

Sherburne County Area United Way

The main objective of a Board Member is to provide guidance and advice for the organization utilizing each board member’s unique background, but we don’t stop there. Our volunteer Board of Directors are doers, thinkers, planners, and fun-havers committed to bettering our community. We are a working board, seeking individuals who want to be involved beyond the meeting room. We are a diverse group with varying skillsets that help us to see things from different points of view. No prior board experience necessary, just a passion for the community.

Basic Board Member requirements are to:

  • attend monthly meetings, held in-person on the 3rd Tuesday of every month
  • join one of our committees that best suit you interest or expertise
  • attend events, typically held quarterly
  • be an ambassador promoting the organization
