Make Your Voice Count: Become a Visitor Survey Data Collector! 📊📋

Are you a friendly, detail-oriented person who loves chatting with people? Do you want to play a direct role in shaping the future of the Oliver Kelley Farm? We are looking for Visitor Survey Data Collector volunteers to help us gather important feedback from our guests!

By collecting surveys, you will be the bridge between our visitors and the team at the Minnesota Historical Society. The insights you gather will directly influence future events, exhibits, and educational programs, ensuring the farm remains a vibrant, welcoming place for generations to come.

What You'll Do:

  • Connect with Visitors: Approach guests at the end of their visit with a warm, friendly attitude.

  • Administer Surveys: Guide visitors through a quick, easy-to-understand survey using a tablet or clipboard.

  • Listen & Document: Accurately record visitor responses, comments, and valuable stories about their experience.

  • Be a Helpful Guide: Answer any final questions guests might have as they wrap up their day at the farm.

Why You’ll Love Volunteering Here:

  • Direct Impact: See exactly how your volunteer hours help improve the farm's programming, events, and visitor experience.

  • Engaging Conversations: Meet people from all walks of life and hear firsthand what they loved most about their visit.

  • Perks & Community: Connect with staff and fellow volunteers at the Minnesota Historical Society, gain insights into museum operations, and join in on volunteer appreciation events!

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Outgoing, approachable individuals with excellent communication and listening skills.

  • Comfortable using basic technology (like an iPad or tablet) to record data, or willing to learn.

  • Patients and polite, with a knack for making people feel comfortable sharing their honest opinions.
