Sherburne County Sheriff's Office

Who We Are
Sheriff Joel Brott and his dedicated employees continually strive to provide the highest level of service to our residents.
What We Do
Where volunteer opportunities are available: Potential for county wide along with outskirts of county
Volunteers are required to: Depends on the opportunity.  Many may participate in adult run/attended meetings to provide input or assistance or complete a special project with time or talents.  There are opportunities to work with youth as well, and if that is the case, a background check may need to be completed if not already done through their current employer.    Additionally, the Sheriff's Office is always looking for volunteer Reservists or Mounted Patrol.  With this, there would be required training and minimum hours per month needed.
Minimum hours required: If for the Reserves/Mounted Patrol, it is a minimum of 10 hours per month.
One time volunteers accepted: Yes
Age Restrictions: Again, depends on the work or participation required.  Reserves need to be a minimum of 18 years of age.
