We are looking for individuals as well as GROUPS to help Older Adults/Seniors with Fall Raking!
You just need to bring the rake, gloves and laughter and they will provide bags/tarps to put the leaves in and so much gratitude. You are not responsible for hauling anything off the property!

Handyman Volunteer for Elk River Area
Senior Community Services is looking for a volunteer handyperson to help Older Adults with projects around their homes. Need to bring your own tools, but we do reimburse for anything needed to complete the project.
This can be anything from fixing a toilet flap, changing batteries in smoke detectors, replacing a railing...nothing that requires a permit will be asked of you!

Technology Help for Older Adults in Becker/Otsego
We are looking for a Tech Volunteers to help run once a month "tech clinics" for Seniors in Senior Centers or Assisted Living complexes.
We currently have an opening at the Guardian Angels Becker complex as well as teh new Otsego Senior Center.
Volunteer just needs to now the basics of phone, computer and tablet use. Most questions revolve around adding Apps., Facebook, deleting information, texting, Virtuwell appointment /Zoom set up, etc.
These clinics run during the day and typically are 3 hours with appointments running 45 in length. Appointments are arranged before volunteer arrives.
